  I hired Glenwood Flooring to put in a carpet in my daughter's room. He seemed to do a fine job. Based on my previous experience with him and his unbeatable price, I hired him to put in engineered wood flooring in my living room. He came in February for a quote, told me it would be a one day job and we arranged a time for mid March. I have had a terrible experience with him and would not recommend his services. Mark still has not finished the beading around the wood floor. Beadings are the pieces of wood that are put at the junctions of the wood flooring and the wall. First, he has not made his numerous appointments with me. March 13 one day flooring job, became March 21 flooring job...and even then he did not finish (he left the beading for later...and is still not finished). I called him nearly everyday for 3 weeks just to finally have him come to put the beading in. He came but did not finish the beading work. He admits to this himself. I have not heard from him since. Second, now that I have gotten other flooring companies in to finish his job, I realise he did not do a good job. The flooring itself looks fine, but cut too short at the ends. This leaves gaps between the flooring and the beading. He came to put the beading around the wood floor three weeks after he put in the floor. The beading is suboptimal. There junctions at the corners have gaps, some beading pieces are coming off, and all around my fireplace is still not done. He has gotten all the money from me in cash minus 50 pounds. He did not finished the beading. This business is a one man run business. He should get other colleagues to finish his job, but did not. I have consulted the city consumer helpline. I have to hire another company to finish his job. Keep in mind, most companies do not want to finish other people's messy work. I have to spend yet more money to fix the flooring issues. I really do not like to write negative reviews for people. But he has left me no choice.

  I found Glenwood Flooring in Portishead, Bristol on Google. They came and laid a solid wood floor into my new kitchen extension and I then wanted a new fitted carpet in the lounge. They are excellent carpet fitters and I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to anyone in Bristol looking for a quality carpet fitting service or wooden flooring. Great Job!!
